Organizing Creative Projects with Obsidian Bases v0.1
I go through how I'm using Obsidian's new core plugin, Bases, to organize my creative projects. It uses just Bases and the QuickAdd plugin to create notes that 'belong' to other notes - Including large project groups with subprojects, documents that belong to the subprojects, and comments that can be left on any Note, Canvas, or Base in your vault.
Each type of note has a tag - This is how the Bases grab each type of note they need (So the folder placement of the notes does not matter!) and a "Belongs To" front matter key. QuickAdd will automatically fill out the Belongs To field with the note you use QuickAdd from, streamlining the creation of connected notes.
The Comments are created using QuickAdd and live in a tucked away folder in your vault and only seen through the use of placing a Base into your side bar that will automatically show you any comment notes that Belong To the active note you're looking at, even if you are looking at a Canvas!
